The plan price and the monthly equivalent
A monthly equivalent spreads a prepaid price across its term. It is useful for comparison, but it is not the amount charged each month. If you choose an annual plan, you pay for the year at the start.
| Term | Paid upfront | Monthly equivalent |
|---|---|---|
| 3 Months | $19.99 | $6.66 |
| 6 Months | $39.99 | $6.67 |
| 12 Months | $49.99 | $4.17 |
The pricing page lists every device combination and lets you prepare an order on WhatsApp. Check the selected term and device count in the message before sending it. Ask for the total payable, including any applicable tax, before making a payment.
Compare the same number of screens
A one-device plan is not a fair comparison with a cable package used on two TVs at once. Count simultaneous streams: if one person watches on a TV while another watches on a phone, that is two connections. Installing the app on several devices is different from playing them together.
| Devices at once | Annual payment | Monthly equivalent |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | $49.99 | $4.17 |
| 2 | $79.99 | $6.67 |
| 3 | $119.99 | $10.00 |
| 4 | $149.99 | $12.50 |
| 5 | $174.99 | $14.58 |
If you only use one TV at a time, a second installed app does not necessarily require a second connection. For account changes or use in another location, check with support before ordering.
Keep internet in the calculation
IPTV needs an internet connection. Cancelling the TV part of a bundle may also remove a broadband discount. Ask your current provider for the internet-only price at your address and whether a cancellation charge applies. Use the final bill, not the promotional headline price.
Check the data allowance too. Usage depends on the stream bitrate and the hours watched, rather than resolution alone. For example, a constant 5 Mbps stream uses approximately 2.25 GB in an hour before overhead: 5 × 3,600 ÷ 8 ÷ 1,000. At four hours a day for 30 days, that example is about 270 GB. It is a calculation, not a measurement of our channels.
Your ISP's account dashboard is the better place to check actual usage and overage terms. If the TV stops while other devices work normally, use the connection checks before paying for a faster broadband tier.
App and equipment costs
- Player app: some apps charge for activation or extra features. That purchase is separate from the IPTV subscription; check the developer's current listing.
- Streaming device: use a supported device you already own first. A TV with an app store may not have the particular player you need.
- Network adapter: check for an existing Ethernet port before buying an adapter. A compatible adapter can help with a weak wireless link, but cannot repair a failing channel source.
- Existing equipment: ask how to return any rented boxes and keep the return confirmation. Check whether you still need the provider's modem for internet.
Our device setup guides explain the app options for different platforms. In particular, Roku setup differs from Android TV setup, so do not buy a player license before checking the model.
Work out your own first-year difference
Write down the annual total for your current TV and internet arrangement. Then calculate the new internet bill, the full IPTV term, app charges, equipment and any cancellation fees. Subtract the second total from the first. Keep services you still plan to use in both columns.
| Item | Example amount |
|---|---|
| TV charges removed | $60 × 12 = $720 |
| Internet increase after removing bundle | $15 × 12 = $180 |
| IPTV USA annual plan, two devices | $79.99 |
| Example app/equipment allowance | $40 |
| First-year difference before tax or cancellation fees | $420.01 |
Replace the example figures with your own quotes. The two services may carry different channels, recording features and content rights, so this calculation compares spending rather than equivalent products. See the provider checklist for the other questions to ask.
When a shorter plan makes sense
A longer term lowers the monthly equivalent but puts more money upfront. If you are still checking device compatibility or only need TV for part of the year, the three-month option may fit better. A successful trial tells you how the service worked during the trial; it cannot guarantee every future channel or connection.
Request the 24-hour trial, read the refund conditions and check the prepaid terms before choosing. Ask about any channel you cannot do without. A low price or a working stream does not establish content licensing.
Frequently asked questions
Is $4.17 a monthly payment?
No. It is the rounded monthly equivalent of the $49.99 annual one-device plan. The annual amount is paid upfront.
Are apps included in the subscription price?
The subscription covers the service. Third-party players can have separate charges; check the app listing before activating it.
Will switching save me money?
Compare your own total bills, including standalone internet, screens, app fees and any cancellation charges. A headline TV price is not enough to calculate savings.
Does an unused screen count as a connection?
The plan count refers to streams playing at the same time. Stop playback on the first screen before starting another if you have a one-device plan.
